HonorBound Motorcycle Ministries Operations Manual
Organizational Structure
Local Church & Multi-Church Chapters
At its essence, HonorBound Motorcycle Ministry is a church based ministry. It’s core value is to help bikers and motorcycle enthusiast into a committed relationship with a local church. HBMM’s must operate as a ministry of a local church. When two or more churches participate together to form an HBMM chapter, the primary local church pastor will have the oversight of the charter with the advise/consent cooperation of the other local church pastors involved.
Motorcycle Ministries, by nature, do a majority of their ministry on weekends during the riding season. The local chapter should submit ministry plans to the pastor and or pastor designated leadership for approval in advance of events. Pastors should safe guard the members of the chapter to insure that they are in services on a regular basis to receive ministry either on Sundays or other nights during the riding season. Failure to faithfully attend or financially support is cause for removal of the patch.
See notes in “We Believe – Statement of Faith” for which churches may participate in Local Church and Multi-Church chapters
Note: Chapters are not designated by number, but rather by the name of the church and the name the local church chose for the chapter, i.e. “Iron Horse Disciples”, etc.
