Sturgis Bike Week will be here before you know it. We have always made this one of our main outreaches. For those of you unfamiliar with my ministry we are best known for our children's ministry. From day one I felt God had called me to reach lifestyle bikers and their families. The biggest gap for most MC ministry strategies is there is usually no thought of how to reach kids.
God has opened doors to the hearts of hundreds of biker families through our Kidz Zone that has been a regular fixture at events all over the US. The City generously gives us a park to do our full Kidz Zone ministry.
You do not have to be talented in children's ministry to get involved. We have several positions in security, promotion, and kitchen staff. These jobs have no real children's ministry involved but are vital to our program.
Your church can get missions credit for your involvement as I am a nationally appointed US missionary. Lodging is available at two area churches and food costs are shared and usually reasonable. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Why not bring a team from your church? Youth groups are welcome with certain conditions.
Advance planning is very helpful, and all volunteers must be cleared through our screening process.
